Membership in BioOhio is attainable at various levels, designed to encourage participation from the largest organizations to the budding entrepreneur.


Membership Categories


Bioscience Companies: Corporations, partnerships or other entities whose business activities involve bioscience, such as diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, agricultural biotechnology, genomics/proteomics, bioinformatics, contract research, etc.
 
Academic/Non-Profit/Research Institutions: Universities, hospitals, research institutions and any other non-profit organization involved with bioscience research, advocacy, application, or education.
 
Suppliers/Service Providers: Companies that provide supplies or support services to Ohio’s bioscience community (e.g., parts suppliers, legal firms, accounting firms, insurance providers, consultants, and equipment vendors/suppliers.
 
Financial Entities: Organizations and entities involved in funding/financing bioscience ventures, such as VCs and banks.
 
Founding Members & Pillar Members*: Organizations that recognize the importance of a strong bioscience industry in Ohio and support BioOhio with additional funds to exhibit their role as an Ohio bioscience leader. Qualify for extra benefits.
