BioOhio opens 2012 scholarship competition for applications
The connection between higher education and pursuing a bioscience career is without question. The availability of funds for a student to pursue a bioscience education, however, is sometimes less certain.
To address these financial needs and to promote bioscience career pursuits among Ohio’s students, BioOhio launched the BioOhio Annual Scholarship program in 2010. This year, 4 $1,250 scholarships will be awarded to Ohio high school seniors who will pursue a bioscience-related degree at an Ohio college or university. Applications are available at
www.bioohio.com/Scholarship.aspx.
The deadline for applications is March 12 and the four awardees will be announced on April 30. For additional information on applying for or donating to the BioOhio scholarship, visit
