BioOhio is Ohio’s Bioscience Organization
BioOhio advances the state’s bioscience, health, and life sciences industries, convening dynamic companies, people, and institutions to elevate the ecosystem in Ohio while supporting those that drive health, economic, and social well-being in communities across the globe.
BioOhio is a non-profit membership organization, guided by its Board of Trustees, that represents nearly 300 members – from Ohio’s largest employers and emerging start-ups to schools, universities, and research institutions.
BioOhio was launched in 1987 with support from founding members Battelle, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic, The Ohio State University, Ohio University, P&G, University Hospitals, and the University of Cincinnati.
BioOhio is a proud member of the Council of State Bioscience Associations, a confederation of state-based, independent, non-profit trade organizations. BioOhio is the state affiliate of BIO, AdvaMed, MDMA, and PhRMA, national organizations working to support the bioscience industry.
