AdvaMed is a trade association that leads the effort to advance medical technology in order to achieve healthier lives and healthier economies around the world. AdvaMed represents 80 percent of medical technology firms in the United States and acts as the common voice for companies producing medical devices, diagnostic products and health information systems.

BIO is the world’s largest biotechnology trade association, providing advocacy, business development, and communications services for more than 1,100 members worldwide. It is their mission to be the champion of biotechnology and the advocate for their member organizations–both large and small.

MDMA-250

Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA) is a national trade association that provides educational and advocacy assistance to innovative and entrepreneurial medical technology companies. Since 1992, MDMA has been the voice for smaller companies, playing a proactive role in helping to shape policies that impact the medical device innovator.

PhRMA

Pharmaceuticals and Research Manufacturers of America (PhRMA) represents the country’s leading biopharmaceutical researchers and biotechnology companies. Their members are committed to finding tomorrow’s cures and treatments for some of the most serious diseases.

As the Ohio affiliate of AdvaMed, BIO, MDMA, and PhRMA, BioOhio participates in advocacy for issues that matter to our members, our industry, and to the health and prosperity of Ohio.
