BioOhio member company Seneca Label sent us an exciting update about their work during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Seneca Label, Inc. has been a BioOhio member since 2019. Seneca has been very visible in the BioOhio community, and has enjoyed meeting different types of companies who are also members. Since they are considered an essential business, Seneca wanted to offer their services to BioOhio members and other businesses that are still operational, in an effort to keep everything moving.

Kyle Hoopingarner, VP at Seneca has shared the following services they are providing to essential businesses:

  • Click this link to see some COVID-specific and pandemic-specific items they have been working on.
  • Sending out free ‘handwashing’ labels to any Ohio company that requests them.
  • Making labels for the food service industry. With all the takeout and delivery going on, these labels are giving consumers confidence that their food hasn’t been tampered with.
  • Seneca has already printed OVER 4,000,000 labels for hand sanitizer bottles, which are being used throughout the country. It gives the Seneca team a lot of pride knowing that the sanitizer labels they are printing are being used in companies that have changed their production lines from the production of paints, nail polish, CBD oils, and co-packing operations into hand sanitizer production/bottling operations.

Hoopingarner leaves us with this message – “As Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has stated, ‘We’re all in this together!’. We’ve been an Ohio company since 1968; and at Seneca, we believe that.”
