Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Healthcare providers, first responders, and care givers are at the front lines of the fight against COVID-19. The work they are doing to care for the sick, and prevent the spread of the infection, is being performed at great personal risk. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is the most critical need to keep themselves safe and reduce the spread. These materials are in critically short supply. The State of Ohio is asking for manufacturers that produce PPE, or those that believe they can begin production, to reach out and offer their assistance in this emergency.
Visit the Ohio Manufacturing Alliance website to learn more and contribute to the effort.
BioOhio is proud to be helping this effort in coordination with partners at the State and JobsOhio to identify vendors and potential manufacturers. To see a list of companies working to increase the supply of medical PPE, or read more about these efforts, click here.
