Hosted the night before the Engineering Expo, the event seeks to serve as a convenient venue in which employers and students might partake in more personal, fruitful discussion than that found during the day of the Expo. The event is open to students of any discipline around the University, ensuring adequate representation from various backgrounds to meet specific needs of employers interested in interns or full-time hires.
Companies in attendance will be given a booth, and those who register before August 12th will have their company advertised in various flyers, website postings, etc. Attendee emails will be made available upon request after the event.
The event will be held at no mandatory expense to attendees; however, an optional donation of $100 – $250 is encouraged. This year, 50% of proceeds will be donated to a local Columbus charity: TECH CORPS. TECH CORPS is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring K-12 students have equal access to technology programs, skills and resources that enhance early learning and prepare them for college and career. TECH CORPS develops technology programs and deploys tech-savvy talent to assist K-12 schools and youth-serving organizations across the country.
