OSU Center for Clinical and Translational Science Monthly Startup Inventor Showcase
March 16 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am
** This event is a virtual event only **
BioOhio leadership member The Ohio State University Center for Clinical and Translational Science is holding a new Monthly Startup Inventor Showcase to help foster the entrepreneurial spirit among researchers, clinicians, staff and students by featuring an inventor and ecosystem resource at each session. This month’s event will take place March 16 at 7:30 a.m.
The ongoing Monthly Speaker Series is geared towards promoting an entrepreneurial mindset among clinicians, faculty, senior leaders, students and staff of The Ohio State University and Nationwide Children’s Hospital. Since academic entrepreneurship is a team sport, the series will also provide a forum for networking with biomedical researchers and clinicians, various players in the life science startup ecosystem, startup executives, investors and other members from the entrepreneurial community at large.
The inventor of the month, Melissa Bailey, OD, PhD, will be speaking about her invention and entrepreneurial journey. Click here to read Dr. Bailey’s full bio.
The resource topic of the month is REACH for Commercialization.
