Venture Law Meetup Webinar Series: Why Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Start-ups Makes Good Business Sense
September 27 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm
The Venture Law Meetup series is presented by BioOhio member Squire Patton Boggs.
Please join us for our next monthly Venture Law Meetup Webinar. Partner Tom Reems will moderate a discussion between partner Carmen Cole and The Norfus Firm founder Natalie Norfus, entitled “Why Promoting Diversity, Equity and Inclusion for Start-ups Makes Good Business Sense”.
This session will focus on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) considerations for start-ups. As these companies work to establish themselves, we look to provide guidance and insight on DEI opportunities and initiatives for leadership to address in relation to the different ways small companies have succeeded in this area, why such efforts are important and how to implement such initiatives practically, effectively and lawfully.
This complimentary webinar series aims to equip executive officers and founders of new start-ups with the knowledge and tools needed to navigate the various aspects of launching and growing a new venture.
We would like to thank our event co-sponsors: BioOhio, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Clinic Innovations, Cleveland Health-Tech Corridor, Cleveland State University, CWRU LaunchNET, Flashstarts, Good Marketing, Inc., Greater Cleveland Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Marcum LLP, Merrill Datasite, OhioX, Plug and Play Cleveland and StartInCLE.
