BioOhio is excited to host our second Women in Bioscience Conference, featuring speakers covering topics such as executive presence and board representation, social media, starting a business, transforming technical talks, and negotiation. And as always, networking opportunities will be plentiful!

Our goal is to highlight numerous bioscience career options, for scientific and non-scientific jobs, along with practical concepts to advance women in the bioscience industry.

Women in Bioscience Workshops

Building on the energy of BioOhio’s Women in Bioscience Conference in 2015, several workshops will be held this year around Ohio.

Topics will focus on practical concepts to advance women in the bioscience industry, in both scientific and non-scientific roles. In addition to excellent networking opportunities, these events will feature speakers discussing career paths, mentoring, networking, communication & negotiation strategies, as well as conflict management techniques.
