BIO Digital 2020

June 8-12 – BIO has transitioned the 2020 BIO International Convention to an online experience, BIO Digital, in lieu of an in-person event. BioOhio is proud to partner with JobsOhio, BioEnterprise, and REDI Cincinnati.

Friday Forums

Held on the 1st Friday of every other month beginning in August with additional town halls added based on speaker calendars and when content is of an urgent nature. FREE to attend.

BioOhio is excited to host virtual town halls on a variety of topics with federal and state legislators, policymakers, and advocates from all political parties and points of view.

June 15th – Ohio Representatives Scott Lipps & Jim Butler, (time to be announced) hosted on Zoom by BioOhio and sponsored by BioOhio member Amgen

December 4th – BioOhio Public Policy Annual Review and the Year Ahead. Join BioOhio and our government relations partners, G2G Consulting and The Credo Company, for an end-of-year discussion on the year’s accomplishments, unfinished business, and goals for 2021.


Ohio Bioscience C-Suite Conversations

Held on the last Wednesday of the month at 4:30 pm, hosted on Zoom by BioOhio. FREE to attend.

Get inspired by some of Ohio’s most successful leaders in the bioscience industry.  Topics will include everything from tales of personal growth, professional development, leadership qualities, lessons learned the hard way, and other tales of inspiration to assist you in your personal or professional growth no matter if you are just starting out in your career or are a seasoned leader yourself.  Each C-Suite Conversation will be followed by virtual networking.

• June 24 – June’s C-Suite Conversation will feature Mike Maczuzak, CEO & Founder of BioOhio member firm SmartShape Design of Cleveland, OH.  Mike has been helping clients shape the future with new medical product innovation through impactful design and development for more than 30 years. Click here to register for this FREE event.

FDA MedTech & Pharma Regulatory Series

Held the 1st Monday of the month at 1 pm beginning in September, hosted on Zoom by BioOhio. $25 per session.

The BioOhio FDA MedTech Regulatory Forum is pivoting in 2020, in response to the impact of COVID-19 on in-person events, to an online series.

Get the most up-to-date information on FDA regulations and policies in these 1hour webinars hosted by industry experts. Certificates of completion will be given to all who participate in these webinars to be submitted for any Professional Certification Programs you are applying for to be used as One Hour of Continued Education Credit.

The BioOhio Patient Summit – A Journey of Innovation & Healing

BioOhio’s signature event is transitioning to an online format. Scheduled for October, the BioOhio Patient Summit will be an energizing event of hope and patient perspectives celebrating Ohio’s bioscience community as we focus on the most important part of bioscience – its impact on patients here at home and around the world.

Telehealth Tuesdays

Held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 1:00 pm beginning in September, hosted on Zoom by BioOhio. $25 per session.
