Cincinnati’s BIOSTART announces closure, will pass baton at end of month

BIOSTART, a Cincinnati life sciences start-up center, today announced that it is closing its operations effective February 28. Facility debt and the inability to develop a sustainable business model following displacement from its incubator facilities last September have made continuation of operations impractical.

California diagnostics company expands manufacturing in Springboro

By the end of March, Santa Maria, California-based Hardy Diagnostics will begin manufacturing culture media and rapid identification kits in Springboro, Ohio, south of Dayton.
